Esther Kim and Gladys Krause at William & Mary, we share findings from a multi-year collaboration in a US elementary education program, where we as faculty of science, mathematics and social studies methods courses collectively sought to imagine and enact collaborative, place-centered forms of teaching and learning that engaged prospective teachers deeply with local places and STEM+ disciplines centering social justice.
